Burglar on Bail Gets Arrested…for Burglary

May 9th, 2012 by milwaukeepolice

A burglar already out on bail for two open burglary cases was arrested by Milwaukee Police…for burglary.

District 7 Police Officers Melissa Takacs, Scott Davis and Andrew Farina responded Monday at 1:50 p.m. to a house in the 3200 block of N. 51st Blvd. after a resident called police regarding a suspicious person trying to kick in her neighbor’s back door. Squads responded and located a man who matched the description of the suspicious person. The subject was identified as a 19-year-old prolific burglar.

The officers found two residences with doors that were forced open and the clue that put the case together - a very distinctive shoe print on both doors. The shoe print was a match for the shoes worn by the suspect and he was arrested. The District Attorney is reviewing the case.
