November 20th, 2012 by milwaukeepolice

On Wednesday, November 14, 2012, District 3 Officers Carlos Rutherford and Ashley Porubsky responded to the 2400 block of North 46th Street regarding an Armed Robbery complaint. Prior to arrival, the officers saw two males walking southbound on North 46th Street in the 2300 block on the west side of the street who matched the description of the two suspects.

The officers attempted to stop and conduct a field interview with the suspects, but they ran from the police. The officers ran after them and ultimately stopped the two suspects. A wanted check revealed they were both wanted for outstanding warrants. The officers produced photo arrays and showed them to the victim. The victim and a witness positively identified the suspects.

Two armed robbers are off the streets due to the good work and keen observances of our officers!
