Keen Observation Leads to Bathtub Burglars

August 1st, 2012 by milwaukeepolice

Keen observation led two Milwaukee Police Officers to arrest burglars who were stealing items from a boarded up city property.

On Monday, June 25, District 5 Officers Martin Gonzalez and Ronald Villagomez observed two suspects removing two cast iron bathtubs from a boarded-up vacant building in the 3300 block of North 25th Street and placing them onto an unlicensed flatbed truck. The suspects had entered the property by removing greenboard that covered the door.

The officers arrested the two burglars, and police are working to determine if the pair were involved in other similar burglaries.
