Milwaukee Police arrested three suspects after they fired shots at police officers from a suburban Milwaukee law enforcement agency. Officers from Greenfield Police saw an Infiniti driving recklessly in the area of N. 27th Street and W. North Avenue during the evening of October 24. Officers followed the vehicle and just before 10:30 p.m. in the 2000 block of N. 24th Place, several shots were fired at the Greenfield officers from the Infiniti. MPD personnel responded to the area and attempted to stop the Infiniti but it fled from the scene. MPD officers pursued it and a short time later the Infiniti crashed on I-43 near Downtown Milwaukee. Officers from MPD’s Robbery Task Force took the three occupants of the Infiniti into custody without incident and recovered a gun from the vehicle. The suspects are a 21-year-old Milwaukee man, an 18-year-old Milwaukee woman, and a 31-year-old Milwaukee woman. MPD will present this case to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days for charges.
