In two shootings overnight, one appears to be accidental, and Milwaukee Police are searching for a suspect in a second incident.
The first incident happened about 9 p.m. in the 3100 block of N. 42nd St. Preliminary information is that the victim, a 27-year-old male, was shot in the arm when a family member accidentally fired a gun in the home. The injury is not believed to be life threatening. The family member is in custody and is being questioned at this time.
A shooting occurred about 11 p.m. on the street in the 3200 block of N. 15th St. The victim, a 19-year-old male, was shot in the elbow. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. Milwaukee Police Officers were on the scene quickly, as they were in the area for a report of shots being fired earlier in the neighborhood. No one is in custody, but the investigation is continuing.
