August 14th, 2015 by milwaukeepolice

Milwaukee Police Officer Michael Ward handed out school supplies to children on Milwaukee’s Northwest Side on Thursday, August 13. Officer Ward, assigned to MPD’s Neighborhood Task Force, bought the supplies with his own money during his off time. The kids at an apartment complex near N. 76th Street and W. Brown Deer Road received packets that included notebooks, markers, crayons, colored pencils, stickers, and a personalized note. Officer Ward will be handing out remaining supplies during the next few days while out on his beat. ¬†You can see more pictures from Thursday’s event by checking out MPD’s Facebook page.
